Development Planning

• Provide Process and Concept Engineering subject matter expertise. Identify, develop and screen concept options for the North Field Production Sustainability (NFPS) program elements, progress definition through pre-FEED to Gate 2.

Key Accountabilities

1. Apply Qatargas’ project management system to process engineering solutions in NFPS program

2. Work within the process engineering team on concept studies (in-house and 3rd party) for NFPS program elements, gaining input and alignment with NFPS management and all stakeholders

3. Be a major contributer on fit-for-purpose concept process engineering definitions, to enable screening and selection. Lead development and surveillance of third party studies to support screening as required

4. Lead development and surveillance process engineering elements of Gate 2 deliverables on selected concepts from pre-FEED through Gate 2 approval.

5. Cultivate Process Engineering and Development Planning skills in the NFPS team, especially in staff development positions

6. Work on the process engineering discipline actvities of the various Pre FEED/engineering projects under NFPS portfolio

• Bachelor of Science, preferably in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university

• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the oil and gas industry (upstream process engineering) • Minimum of 5 years Process Engineering and Concept studies experience on oil and gas industry capital projects (upstream offshore experience).
