Job Description
• Carry out the Installation, Commissioning, Start-up, Preventive and Corrective Instrument maintenance activities of all plant equipment/systems, adhering to company’s SE&Q policy.
• Responsible to prepare PTW/JSA, TBT and other supporting documents as per job requirement. Should be able to work under pressure and has willingness to work in varying conditions.
• Candidate has to work with limited supervision and should be able to provide work direction to company’s technicians and contract technicians.
• Assist National Trainees for their development.
Required Qualification
Completion of at least Secondary education (12 years), followed by either completion of an OJT program or related vocational training program (TAFE).
Required Experience
• Minimum 5 years’ direct maintenance experience as Instrument Technician in a reputable Oil & Gas/LNG company, or within the Oil & Gas sector. • Experience in installation, commissioning, start-up and preventive/corrective maintenance of field instruments & control valves. • Familiar with PFD, P&ID, Logic & Loop drawings, C&E, datasheet review, instrument index, etc. for daily job requirement. • Must be conversant with DCS and ESD control system operations for maintenance requirements. • Knowledge and exposure in the maintenance of Gas Turbines and related Control Systems of third party System Interfaces such as DCS, Bently Nevada, CCC control, MKVI, MKVIe control systems and IPS will be an added advantage. • Implementing BPOs and troubleshooting of process or equipment issues with CADs/Trends/SOEs. • Knowledge & familiarity of SAP system. • Good written and spoken English language proficiency as well as familiar with the use of basic MS Office applications.
