For an unprecedented fourth consecutive year, Qatargas' Shipping Department has been awarded the Sword of Honour and the Globe of Honour from the internationally acclaimed British Safety Council. Representing a world-class commitment to safety management and environmental management standards respectively, the prestigious accolades were accepted by Khalid Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Qatargas Chief Executive Officer at a ceremony held recently in London, the United Kingdom.
Khalid Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Qatargas Chief Executive Officer, said: “Qatargas is very proud to receive the Sword of Honour and the Globe of Honour awards for the fourth consecutive year. These prestigious awards are testament to the world-class standards we maintain at Qatargas, and most importantly, they recognise our commitment to operating safely, efficiently and reliably.
